Blizzak, they have a micro cell compound that wicks water away from the tire road interface(water film is what causes poor traction on ice and packed snow), in addition the new generation Blizzaks have iron particles in the rubber to emulate stud traction on ice. Both tires have a rubber compound that stays pliable in cold temperatures, and lots of sniping to give you edges that bite into snow and ice.
Yep those folks doing the beating and spraying were trying to keep the black folks from voting. When the Dems passed the civil rights acts in the 60's those same folks left the Democratic Party and fled to the Republican party. Seems the Republicans love to hate minorities!!!!!!
