faith sounds like it would be a lot cheaper and easier
It is literally impossible for a human being in this day and age to move a mountain by faith alone, unless Jehovah, the True God, chooses to send a miracle. He is definitely able to do that.
You know what, you are right. All this time in college studying engineering seems stupid, considering we can do all of it with magi- ahem - faith.

Then 800 years later a lager lout holding a can of larger walks along, sits on the tomb to pose for his picture. Definition of insanity! Like a window sill to a spider is the universe to mankind. Our minds are linked to our beings, consciousness and conscience. Philosophies which branch off from the 4 Veda's written in Sanskrit over 3500 years ago talks about this, and so does God through jesus, ETC. Basically our beings are in a mainframe of reality, we use our conscious mind to tell our brain to move our appendages, then a signal is sent from the brain along the nervous system. (So does the subconscious mind) A reflex may be monosynaptic, disynaptic, or polysynaptic ETC. Colour, light and all the senses don't really exist, they are neurological constructs the mind has created for our survival purposes. EG: Some tribes can't differentiate the difference between shades of blue and green, they even use the same word for the two colours. Humans see 3 colours R.G.B The Mantis shrimp see's 12 colours. All the senses are constructs created by the mind in order to survive in this material paradigm. The only truth is God.
Think of it as the collective faith of the bulldozer, backhoe and dump truck drivers to be able to accomplish a huge task together.
Jesus often used the phrase According to your faith. If you believe that you must have a bulldozer in order to move a mountain, the perhaps you have enough faith that God will provide you with the bulldozer, the time, the man power, and the gas money to do it. There are many things that would be a lot cheaper and easier if we were to use faith instead of depending on our own strength.
