i have seen many questions on the internet about metmucil and whether it makes you lose or gain weight but all of the answers were very confusingso heres my story.i am 16 and not at all overweighti just started taking Metmucil because i heard it was good for 'cleaning out your insides' sorta like a detoxso i started taking it every couple of days and then i heard that it can help you lose weight so i looked it up and i saw all this negative stuff on the internet sayin that it makes you gain pounds of weight because it takes out all the bacteria etc etc.so do you think it will make me gain weight, lose weight or have no change.i know your meant to take it if your old.i know its mainly for fibre and cholesterol management etc.i know its supposed to help with constipation and bowel movement.BUT WILL IT MAKE ME GAIN OR LOSE WEIGHT?i dont wanna get fat! haha
