Question:

If I have a vending machine with credit card reader, How the reader handles the transaction?Direct with the Co

I need to understand how credit card reader at vending machines work. Does Reader connect direct with each credit card Company, accepts the transaction and charge fee to reader account? How much is the fee?

Answer:

reckoning on what the machines are merchandising. some do settle for credit enjoying cards for great value ticket products. i think of you have been thinking with regard to the machines that sell candies and sodasi do no longer think of you will ever see that i think the main considerable reason is that credit card businesses value the seller a fee each and every time a credit card is used. For small products, the cost may be too severe to be worthwhile. that's a similar reason some gasoline stations (say ARCO) won't settle for credit enjoying cards in any respect or some stations will value you greater for credit card transactions.
The card reader works just like one in any business. It needs to be hooked up to a phone line and it will dial the approval line for the cards that it accepts. Also like a regular card processing machine you will have to pay a percentage of each sale or a transaction fee for each sale. It depends on which cards you accept as to the amount and the fees. Each card company has a card services department for businesses just call them and find out. Good luck!
