Question:

if the house was on fire?

and i was still sleeping would you wake me up or let me burn? knowing i sleep naked without any blankets

Answer:

If you had ever been in a fire you would be grateful to have a fire alarm. Quit snivellin'.
Why not listen to them for yourself? Do you know anyone who owns a pair? Is there a store near you that sells them? There's no way I would buy headphones without listening to them first.
I will approach that from a different angle. Some grocery stores sell small blocks of dry ice. Get some, place it over the resin, and then it might freeze enough simply shear off with a putty knife or similar tool. As far as the discoloration, check at your home improvement store.
I assume the they who entered your apartment is the landlord. I also believe he is pulling your chain about there being a federal law against disconnecting a faulty fire alarm. At most there might be a local ordinance. I also think until he fixes those alarms to prevent any more false alarms you should withhold at least part of the rent.
