if i have a data cable for my phone, do i need a memory card to put picture on the computer too? or can i just use the cable for that?
By using the cable, you can transfer to computer and put in your my pictures.
Hi there , Data cable is means of connecting you phone to computer , or you can use bluetooth connection , infrared etc. Ofcourse you need data to transfer , if the pictures are in card you need it and get them into computer, if they are saved in phone memory than possibly you dont need the card. The data cable will do the job but you will need software for the phone. With the Memory card the card reader will import the photos as long as the card reader has a driver.
It depends if your computer has a data card slot (most new ones do) and your camera's data card will fit into it - there you go! If not, then you'll need a USBcamera cable. You should have received a cable with the camera when you purchased it. All this is assuming your camera is digital! :)
You should be able to use the cable just as you would with a digital camera.
