I have a pet hedgehog that I keep in my bedroomSummer is almost here and it's starting to get hot out, so I put my air conditioner back into the windowI usually keep it at 72F and it is comfortable for me, but could this possibly be too cold for my hedgehog? He has a little house with a blanket that he sleeps in during the day, and his cage has a blanket over itI also keep the air conditioner's fan speed on the lowest setting so there isn't really a draftShould my hedgehog be fine? I've read online that they should be fine in temperatures from 65F-85F.

I usually take cooked ham and cube it, 2-4 boiled eggs, diced 1 medium onion, diced 1 can of peas 1/2 cup of shredded swiss cheese rotini pasta salt, pepper I boil the pasta according to instructions, drain them, and pour them in a bowlI throw the shredded cheese into the warm pasta and stir that to make sure the cheese coats the pasta evenlyI add the onion, finely diced, the diced eggs, and the diced ham,and a can of peas, season with salt and pepper and mix it all wellThen I add 1 tablespoon balsamic or herb vinegar and 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil and mix everything until coated with the vinegar+oil dressingUsually I refrigerate this overnight.
Try grilled chicken/bacon and add some lettuce and baked potato(sliced)Lastly, sprinkle some nuts and you may want to add salad dressing.
72 degrees Fahrenheit is considered the minimum for most hedgehogs, so long as they aren't in a draftHowever, some hedgehogs prefer it a bit warmer, usually the smaller, thinner hedgehogs, who like it at least 74 degrees80F or so should be the maximum, as they tend to get uncomfortable and sleep a lot more if it's hotter than that when they're awakeSet it at 72 degrees Fahrenheit and make sure that the hedgehog never feels cold to the touch, and you should be ok.
