Question:

Is coffee really bad for you?

I have constant constipation, and drinking coffee seems to helpI do put sugar and creamer in it, I just can't stand it blackI drink it throughout the day to help me.Thanks

Answer:

A moderate amount of coffee - two cups a day (not mugfuls) - is supposed to be the optimum amountYou could try eating more insoluble fiber - whole grain breads and buns, raw fruit and veggies, for exampleIf you are taking soluble fiber in some form as a supplement, cut back on itSoluble fiber absorbs water as it passes through the digestive system, and too much could contribute to your constipation.
Not reallyIt is a fadI prefer the Egyptian cotton/polyester blend myself.
