Is it a law that smoke detectors should be put in rentals the water heater strapped down?

heat from the sun is in the form of light (photons or electromagnetic waves) of different wavelengths a glass prism (or optic fibers) is good for directing light via the use of critical angle in snells law, im not certain but i dont think the glass prism is transpherent to all wavelengths causing your use of it (directing all wavelenths coming from the sun) not to be of 100% efficent. another way to control the direction of the waves is use a mirror but most mirrors are not 100% reflective and as it is a sheet of glass the reflective material is usually placed on you have the same problem as the prism. id say the most effective way to control the light is using a 100% reflective material that has a concave shape allowing u to concentrate the light where u wish. or just use a magnifing glass and burn the ants :P
They will beep when the battery is dying. They also flash red to let you know they are working about once a minute or so. The best way recommended by the fire department is to automatically change the battery twice a year when the clocks are set forward or backward.
