Carbon Monoxide is normally a result of a leak of some type of gas, like propane, etc or very very poor ventillation. Cooking with no ventillation COULD cause it. I`d recommend opening all the windows, resetting the alarm and seeing if it changes. If not, the smart thing to do would be to shut off any gas lines, etc.. in the house and evacuate
