iv got an aprilia rs 125 the bikes only done 1800 miles the front tyre is original and in good condition but am replacing the rear tyre with avon is this ok
confident you may replace all of them on an identical time. In an AWD in case you have tires that are worn greater on the returned, working example, they seem to be a smaller diameter then the front. And there for could spin swifter to maintain up as they conceal much less distance per rotation. It places extra tension on the AWD equipment to have that going on because it is attempting to coach all wheels on an identical velocity. some binding might take place in the transfercase and reason injury or extra positioned on.
No, it would not mess up your engine. I would help performance to a degree by allowing more air into the engine. see site below, gives more information, but putting a cooler on your engine will not hurt it.
My advice is to return the new intake and restore your vehicle to the original factory condition. Technicians don't want to work on vehicles that the owner's have modified. Don't give them an excuse why they can't fix your car or truck. Maintain it to the original manufacturer's parts and specifications unless modifications have been accepted by the manufacturer and general repair community.
It will be good to go just as long as the belt pattern is the same, turning efficiency may suffer a bit if one tire is stickier than the other. But if the bike is for normal street riding you may not even notice a difference.
An Aprilia rs 125 is not a performance bike. Installing different brand tires on the F R wheels will be perfectly fine.
