Don't know much about Aem v2, but cold air intake will give slight increase in hp. I've always used KN air filters give a couple of mpg extra too.
The problem is that many so called cold air intake systems do not do as advertised, may not be a bolt on even if it says so, is designed to work at wot or wide open throttle, which is unrealistic around town. often they do not have the proper holes for fuel injection sensors for the computer, and can cause check engine lights to appear, there are many complaints off and on , especially in the summer months, if it leans out your motor, you can smoke a hole in a piston or ruin an expensive engine. power chips are more hocus pocus, check with your trusted mechanic about any of this bolt on crap. keep in mind, the original air box goes to the inner fender, this is a true cold air intake already. I talked to my mechanic and his exact words were if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I suggest you ask your mechanic before possibly destroying your engine.
