After a month later and the brake finally failed, I bought it to an autoshop and the mechanic said the brake master cylinder needed to be replace. The price to replace the part and labor was around 200 bucks and it seems reasonable to me. However, a few days later the mechanic infor. me that some craps come out when they perform a brake flush to my car and some other part need to be replace. They now said I need to pay 500 bucks for all the parts and labor. Are they being honest or I just got ripped off? I pretty sure they were being honest on the brake master cylinder, but I‘m not quite sure about the latter one.
Have them tell and show you exactly what they want to replace and why. If they are doing a complete brake job for that money it sounds about right. To the person here who suggests they figure out who has money and how to get it.that may be how you operate but most shops are reputable and don't pull that kind of stuff on customers.
