Is their a way to stop your windshield wipers from vibrating/jumping across your windshield?

Answer:

one is to use what they call RAINX on your windshieldit does help a lotit helps get rid of the rain, plus it makes your windshield slicker and the blades slide over it easierwhen you do this, take a clean clothe or paper towel with some Windex and clean the entire rubber part of the wiper blades, this will get any road grime and what ever off of the blades so the work better with the RAINXI have used it for so many years I can count. you can get RainX at Wallmart and any auto parts store, it comes in a yellow bottle, one is a squeeze bottle the other has a spray bottle. second, make sure the wiper arms have tension from the spring, if not then maybe you need all new arms not just the wiper housing, but right down to the rotating arm. good luck smile
You may simply have to replace your wipers. When my wipers get worn they tend to jump. If you live in an area where it has seasons (snow etc.) you probably need to replace them once a year. New wipers are realitively cheap at your local autoparts store say $10-15 each for the good ones. Also you could try applying Rain-X to your windshield, it will make it slicker and less likely to skip. You can pick up Rain-X (about 6 bucks) at your local grocery or autoparts store too.
