I‘ve been having a problem with my 2005 Taurus, where my ABS light and check brake system comes on. Right afterwards the check traction control light will come on. A couple of times I‘ve been driving with my foot on the accelerator and felt the brakes being applied. About a minute later, the vehicle shut off while I was driving. What in my brakes and traction control would cause the engine to shut down?
Most often they won't flash. But i would go together with the ASE licensed tech. Assess the fluid within the master cylinder for being about half of or shrink It is going to do essentially as you describe. If no longer (and that i still endorse a investigate anyway) you're going to must deliver it to a store as the vehicle sees whatever incorrect with the non-ABS subject of your braking method Shavings on the ABS wheel ring will motive a ABS mild but not a brake light
On vehicles equipped with antilock brakes (ABS), a second warning light is provided to warn if a problem occurs within the ABS system. The ABS lamp comes on when the ignition is turned on for a bulb check, then goes out after the engine starts. If the ABS warning light remains on or comes on while driving, it indicates a fault has occurred in the ABS system.
