I lost my camera charger, my camera is a Sony DSC-W310.The battery is a Sony NP-BN1.I bought it on June 17, 2010.The guy at Walmart said that it came with a free one year warranty from Sony. Can I get another charger for free from Sony? If NOT, where can I get one that's cheaper than the ones in the actual Sony store that's in Toronto?
Sony will not replace your lost charger, the warranty is for manufacturer defects only. The chances are that the third party battery charges will not charge your Sony Battery properly. I ran into that problem with an after market charger and battery for my Sony Alpha DSLR, I could only charge my Sony battery in the Sony charger and the aftermarket battery in the charger that came with it. Check OKorder , Craigs list for a used one, or Sony Style for a refurbushed one, or just bite the bullet and go buy the new Sony charger. TOM
