I'm in high school and in a ceramics class.I want to make a bong. Of course.We have tons of freedom in the class, and the teacher likes me. We basically can make whatever we want as long as we're not wasteful.Except that my teacher is an ex-hippie. He loves to call everyone out on the bad bongs they make. He has a whole shelf of confiscated bongs. He shows them off and laughs at them.People have tried to be sneaky, but when he sees them working, he's always like, It's a bong. I'm not firing that, it's obviously a bong. One person even made theirs like a real heart, with two mouthholes and stuff, it looked pretty cool, but he confiscated it.He doesn't get angry; just amused. But he's definitely on top of things.Do you have any ideas how I can slip a bong past my teacher?As for all you people out there who will go down the, don't do drugs, or you're stupid, route, don't. I don't want to hear it; I've done my research, and besides, it's my business. Thanks.
Make a multi piece bong over time, that fit together when you get it home, a city scape, make a bowl that looks like a bell, make a construction site with several tubes stacked to give you just afew ideas, work with it and make the connections larger on the base pipe, and smaller with a beveled lip on the top piece, that way they can connect easily, other then that, I dunno, back when I was in school I just told the teacher Everyone tries to make one, I want to be the guy that does and that show of confidence kept him from keepin my bong, which I later dropped and broke anyways :( Hope that helps, just remember, try to be sly about it, where the function isn't apparent until you get it home. I made a fully working kazoo in wood shop my sophomore year, went home, ripped the innards out and made a pipe. Hope that helps :)

I have made them in ceramics class where the teacher was a hippie. She didn't catch me though. I made an animal, a bad badtz maru to be exact. Filled the inside with newspaper,as you should. Made a hole in the bottom of the animal for the mouthpiece, also a hole for where the ash from the paper can come out of. I made a hole for the bong stem, but covered it with a very thin layer of clay, it is important to remember where that thin layer is because after it is fired, that is where you will tap it out with a pencil or something, sand smooth and place your bong stem in it. Do that part at home. Your teacher will be none the wiser. It should look like an animal or something, mine was an innocent cartoon character, so this way you can say that its just that.
