I am not an expert at this by any strecth of the imagination, but i would just pray that God opens you heart for worship and blocks out any all distractionsThat is just what i do, but like i said, i am no expert!!! i hope that helps someGod Bless
The Word says come into His Presence with Thanksgiving in your heart and then give Him PraiseSo I always bring my thoughts into a place where I start thanking Him for being God, for getting me through the week, for giving me salvation and His Word, and for walking with me every day etcWhen I begin to think along these lines, then it is much easier to enter into Praise and WorshipDeveloping a grateful heart is the beginning of true Worship.
I have a 5 book set on manners from the 1930's I think but I never read themThey cover everything from what to wear to what career to have to how to stand and what hobbies to have they are like totally specific what exactly are you looking for? The thing about men taking off their hats in elevators if women are in there with themMen also take off their hats if they stop on the street to talk to a womanWhen you are at the theater you aren't supposed to stand in front of others when waiting for a seat, and your not supposed to touch anyoneI have a whole page of these but some of them are really complicated.
Pray first that God would help you have a mind that wants to worship Him.God is a jealous God.if you are not thinking of him when you should be that upsets Him.
I generally enter worship/prayer expecting to commune in some way with GodSometimes I come with great joy and passion(Psalm 33:1Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him.) other times with sadness and burdens that need lifted (Psalm 31:9 Be merciful to me, O LORD, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and my body with grief.) God wants us to come to Him with everything, trusting that He knows what is best for us(1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.) Worship is so much more than a songWe can worship God through music, prayer, writing, (using any of our gifts and talents) and serving others in a Godly mannerMy pastors wife takes a deep breath in and out while focusing on God and calls that a God moment, in this way she is worshiping God with her very lifeBeing and doing exactly what God made her to doBy giving it all to God(the hopes, fears, and joys of your life) you are being totally devoted to the LordNothing is more proper or passionate ~I remember you were going to be moving, are you having trouble adjusting? Regardless you are in my prayers, God Bless.~
