if you mixed every metal that is known to man into one sheet how tough whould it be
ive seen it done a few times, not a very good idea.
you can but you have to run one by fours down to help you fasten it down.
depends on the weight of the metal roofing. I had aluminum shingles installed on my roof over the original shingles. but the total weight of the aluminum shingles is 400 lbs. spread out over the whole roof. so ther is very little danger if overweight.
That's what I did.....Helps insulate noise from rain or hail. As well, an extra insurance to prevent leakage......the screws for the metal roof have rubber washers. If one of these should start leaking, what are the odds of water finding its way past that, and finding a hole in the shingles underneath? Did my house 3 years ago, and did my garage this summer. House took 2 short days (2 guys) and garage took one day.
