Question:

My 90 Honda Civic Has A Stoping Problem With My Brake System. What Could It Be?.?

Well it started 2 days ago, my cars brakes felt funny. When I brake, the break pedal went all the way down. Then I checked if the car had any brake fluid. It had a little bit. So I refill it again. Yesturday, It did the same thing, I notice the back passanger tire had brake fluid everywhere. I check the back of the brum of the and a little brake line was leaking the fluids. I replaced the little brake line no leak but Its still doing the same thing. When I push the break it take a long time to stop the car. What could be wrong?. Do I need to replace the brake pump?. Ideas?.

Answer:

Have a profersional look at it and fix it. If your brakes go out and you crash into someone and kill them you will go to jail for murder. It will be easy for them to prove you knew about it beofrehand and drove the car anyway now that you have posted here. Stop risking your life and the lives of the people around you and do not drive the car again untill it is fixed.
Did you bleed the brakes after you changed the brake line? because if not, then there is still air in the lines and you will have soft braking effects on the pedal
If you haven't done so already, bleed the brakes to get any air out of the lines. Otherwise, maybe the master cylinder is bad.
