Question:

my 99 explorers passenger side windshield wiper stopped working.?

The driver‘s side is fine. I‘m thinking its mechanical not electrical. Any advice, I would like to fix it myself but I don‘t know where to begin.

Answer:

It appears like the wiper arm itself has stripped out. what you're able to do is take away the cap on the wiper arm on the backside of your windshield and get a wrench/socket and attempt to tighten the bolt down. on occasion that works, different smart you will desire a sparkling wiper arm. I doubt enormously that the wiper pivot is undesirable. in case you desire a sparkling wiper arm, you may attempt a areas shop or the broking of your motor vehicle. (i.e. ford, chevy ect. ) wish this helps.
Check rh wiper arm retaining nut under a plastic cap at end of wiper arm. These nuts often loosen. You can pop the cap off with a small screw driver. Position the arm properly before tightening. Hope this turns out to be the problem. 5 minute repair.
Probably mechancal, I don't know 99 Explorers. But they are usually connected by an arm that goes across from the motor to the passenger side. It probably just came disconnected. How to get to it, you would need a manual on how to do that. Local library might have one.
im all for it, yes solar panels are expensive to buy at first but the money you save using the renewable energy will pay for the panels multiple times. Other renewable sources of energy are good too, wind power and hydropower. these can all save money especially since they are renewable and will damage the environment little to none
I live in a house that is classified as passive solar heated. Well, it will maintain a temperature between 13C and 40C throughout the winter, and provides warm water. In 1978 when we designed this house solar electricity was still prohibitively expensive. Today China is making good use of solar electricity, and offering solar equipment at modest cost. By modest cost I mean that if you live in a desert you could not afford to be without it. In Pittsburgh, forget it. Because my utility will buy solar power at $0.42 /kWh, it has become practical to supply power to the grid in addition to supplying one's own. But I think I would be selling all my solar power, and using cheap grid power at night where possible. (Grid power costs only about 14 cents /kWh). I am torn between going now and getting $0.42 and waiting until the price of photovoltaic drops. The problem here is that the price they pay drops when new technology lowers the cost.
