My axle makes a odd sound, what happened?
in my exp. in axles the sound you are problably hearing are the cv joints going out the sound is a clicking or humming noise, so i would say its the cv joints. hope this helps.
Could be anything, differential, u-joints, bearings, ring and pinion, more info is needed. What kind of sound? Make/Model? Mileage? Is it pulsating? Constant friction/rubbing? Fluid leaks? Smells?
