My car is so low how can i lift it?

I bought a car from my cousin and for some reason he lowered it so low you can‘t turn all the way because the tires hit the fender and you have to go slowly and drive sideways over bumps and all that bull ****How hard would it me to put like a 1 or 1 1/2 inch lift on this car its a coupe Cost estimate time and should I do it my self or go somewhere and have it done
