my cat eats lint and hair off the floor,couch or on blanketswhy?
I have a cat that does this a lot as wellIf it isn't hurting her, then I wouldn't worry too much about thisThere might be something about the texture or smell of the blanket that makes her happy.
I agree that it is common for cats to do and some do it a lot more than others.I associated it with pretending to be nursing and they got a good comforting feeling from it.I didnt know it was more common in kittens taken from mom too early but that makes a lot of sense.Thanks for the info Pretty Kitty.
Oh boy.try one of those sticky lint rollers or wrap some masking tape around your hand several times and then dap the areas with hairYou could also try taking a CLEAN shop vac to it and sucking the hair offI'd also call your local cleaners to see if they have any ideas.
