My Well Maclain Boiler takes a very long time to turn on and only stay on for 2 minutes. It does not respond to bridged thermostat wires. This boiler has a new gas valve with a pilot lite that is always on. What should I do?

Your boiler has a built in thermostat that is set to a predetermined setting by the installer. That may explain why it is only coming on for two minutes and then shutting down. You need to determine if the circulator pump is running , if not that is most likely the reason your boiler is not firing, though with the amount of info given, a guess at best.
