I need help with my Card Reader, I have a Windows Xp 98. I bought a card reader, and i plugged it into my USB port, with my memory card I don't have 2.0 port though.the older version I have. My computer says that new software has been installed but I cant see it.Help!
I guess your operating system is Windows 98 (not XP). If so I think you will struggle a bit to get a USB 2.0 device working even in the existing USB 1.1 ports. You might be best to get a USB 2.0 card for your PC to give you a high speed port, but make sure that you get one that can run under Windows 98. The cards are not expensive. The easier route is just to see if you can get hold of a USB 1.1 card reader.
