Officials in West Vancouver, Canada, apparently aren't satisfied with the driver-slowing properties of traditional speed bumps. On Tuesday, the town unveiled a new way to persuade motorists to ease off the gas pedal in the vicinity of the ?cole Pauline Johnson Elementary School: a 2-D image of a child playing, creating the illusion that the approaching driver will soon blast into a child. Please check the link:
I can't believe anyone would compare the two. The Shield is far better than the Bodyguard. Either will work, so you'll need to go to the range and shoot both of them. Buy the one you shoot better with.
nobody is better than anyone else, God is the only perfect
have not had experience with either

The Shadow is talking out of an orifice that isn't on his face. The diameter of the bullet is only one of several criteria that determine whether a firearm is suitable for a purpose. Just because a .38 Special and 9mm have SIMILAR (not exact) diameters does not make them equal. In fact, a .38 Special is 0.02 larger in diameter, at 0.357, than a 0.355 9mm Parabellum bullet, and 9mm Parabellum is roughly twice as powerful at the muzzle than .38 Special. .380 ACP is roughly comparable in power to a .38 Special, but uses the same diameter bullet in a lighter weight as compared to 9mm Parabellum. Now, as for whether the Bodyguard .380 or MP Shield 9mm Para is better, you have to take into account your ability, budget, and personal preferences. Can you fire a 9mm Parabellum from a subcompact slim handgun like the Shield that is extremely light and will therefore have pretty high recoil, at least in comparison to other 9mm Paras? Can you afford the more expensive .380 ACP ammunition that the Bodyguard .380 uses? More importantly, can you even find .380 ACP? (Where I live, .380 ACP is very hard to find.) And which one fits your hands better? Which one can you shoot more accurately? Does one fit your budget better? I could recommend the MP Shield all day long, but if you can't afford it, it isn't the choice for you. So go to a gun shop, see which one fits your hands best, and more importantly, try to get some range time with both. See which one is more appropriate FOR YOU. Because six hits with a .380 ACP are better than six misses with a 9mm Parabellum, but a gun that's empty because you can't find ammo is even worse.
