I am planning to get a now dog. Preferably a small breed, and it will be indoors allot. My house is really big. MY question is , will it be a problem if my house is almost always messy? there is allot of trash lyeing around all over the place, bits of paper,cloths hangers, cloths, other trash, toys. Will this is a big deal. I assume it would, but exactly how clean should I be for the new dog ? What kind of stuff is a absolute must to avoid having lying around in the dog's reach ?
ok. That's not so good. You have to clean up everything small, just like with a toddler or baby. They could choke. Also, you must MUST hang up all cords, wires or strings up behind something or up high on a wall. They could bite through them and get electrocuted. NOT GOOD. Also, put up any candy bars, fruit or other people food. It is very bad for dogs to eat. hope this helps! :)
How do you already know she's pregnant? Did you have an ultrasound accomplished? Has you ***** had all wellbeing and genetic testing accomplished? Does your canines have her breed championship or working titles? in basic terms what makes her breed worth? this is slightly late to be asking what arrangements could be made. you've researched all of this in the previous breeding. the place's your breed mentor? it relatively is the guy to speak to, no longer a gaggle of strangers on line. this is not too late to abort and spay. 2 million canines are euthanized, interior the U.S., each 12 months, through fact of outdoors greeders and domestic dog turbines. Yes, this will be a problem. Puppies chew everything and get into everything. Small things should not be lying on the floor, they may either chew or completely devour it. This includes papers, cords, shoes, etc. Some puppies are great about not getting into your things, but when you get a new puppy, you must assume that they will.
Puppies will pretty much eat/chew on everything. Any trash should be picked up. Clothes that you don't want torn also off the floor. The more stuff on the floor the more likely you will not be able to see if the puppy goes potty inside, and that's pretty gross.
Puppies are like little vacuum cleaners, in their minds everything is edible until proven otherwise. It will be very dangerous to a puppy if there are all kinds of random objects lying around. It's difficult enough to train a puppy not to chew on stuff that's not his, let alone do it when he's surrounded by what looks like Toys 'r Us to him! I'd definitely recommend that you get a crate, so that the pup (and your stuff) is safe when you're not supervising him. Also, clean up at least one room, so that there's nothing lying around that he can swallow. Use a baby stair gate or something similar to block off the doorway, that way he has some more space, but is still safe. If your yard also contains a lot of 'stuff', make sure you protect him by supervising him there too. The website below is specifically for new puppy owners, you will probably find it helpful.
