Question:

Does putting sand bags in my trunk help in the snow with front wheel drive?

I have a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt. It's front wheel drive, and I have a tendency of sliding around like crazy during the winter. Going with the advice of my father, we put 240 pounds worth of sand bags in the trunk. However, recently I heard that since it IS front wheel drive, these sand bags don't help at all and actually make my traction worse. Is this true?Plus, is there anything I can do to improve my traction in the snow? I do have snow tires.

Answer:

There is no suit against her employer of any kind. There is likely no defamation either that would satisfy the legal standards, these are her opinions. She is entitled to file the complaints unless they are false, all she needed was a good faith belief of defective equipment and or service. (You failed to provide details of what happened). This information is crucial, how late were you in addressing the issues, why did she have to write to different authorities if problems were being addressed in a timely manner. If you were indeed late, without good cause, apologize and bury the thing.
I suggest you be pleased about it. Having a fire hydrant too far away from the house means you pay more for insurance, so you might want to let your insurance company know you have one very close now. The nearest fire hydrant to my house is a mile away and that probably costs me $100-200 more a year for insurance.
