I purchased one that came with lifetime traffic updates. Well the cable went out first time we used it so I sent just the cable in under warranty. Delivery company lost it and Garmin wants to charge me 120 for a new cable. If I buy a cable on OKorder with a traffic reciever will it still get the lifetime traffic updates or is it cable specific?
That was the correct answer above, it's solely on the traffic receiver itself not the unit.
Sad to say, the traffic subscription is tied to the traffic receiver, not to the GPS unit. You need to go after the shipping company to track down your shipment.
