Do as I say, not as I do. YOU know it's not safe for you to draw blood without gloves, so don't do it. Let her do it..don't say muchbecause some nurses can't draw blood with their gloves on. But, personally, I think that they need to learn how to do it with gloves on. There are too many people out there with bacteria and viruses that we can get if we come in contact with their blood. If a patient has small veins or are dehydrated, sometimes it's hard to feel for a vein through the gloves.still unsafe.
