Im after a way to cook pork spare ribs so that they are nice and juicy instead of dry and flavourlessI bought them from the butcher and they're already marinated so all i gotta do is cook emEither on the bbq or in the oven ill be happy to do i just wanna know the timing, temp and if i need to wrap them up to keep the sauce
I do mine in the oven then the grill (weather permitting, of course), but sometimes I just don't want to deal with the charcoal and the back and forth to the BBQ (I keep it away from the house so we don't get smoked out) Remove them from the marinade, pat them dry with paper towels and then cut them into manageable pieces (about 4 rib sections) and place them in an ovenproof baking dish (think: a 9X13 clear Pyrex dish, borrow one from a neighbor if you don't have one) add your BBQ sauce of your choice and cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in a 250-275F degree oven for 5-6 hours (AND RESIST THE TEMPTATION, THEY'LL BE JUST FINE) If you open the foil, you won't get as good a seal, and you want them to steam-bake.if you like them with a bit of a crust, after you're done with the baking of them, run them under the broiler (with your wrist tied to the oven door so you CAN'T walk away) and watch them carefully till they're as crispy as you like.Enjoy!!!
