1989 Mercedes Benz 300 SE, when bleeding the front brakes, the pedal drops to floor and fluid bleeds proper. When bleeding the rear, i pump and hold, and only a small spurt of air comes out and the pedal does not drop at all. im thinking there is something mechanical or electrical in between the master cylinder and rear calipers. if anyone knows whats going on please let me know :)
Sounds like you have a stopped up line or wheel cylinder, start from the back and work your way forward, loosen at each point till you find were it is free then you will find out were the problem might be . If you have to go all the way back to the master the problem would be in the line.
this car has dual circuit brake system what you describe is normal but would still advise you bet a mechanic to check adjust and bleed your brakes because it sounds you don't really know enough about it to be working on something that if it fails can be a big disaster
