Question:

Problems with my boss or am I at fault?

hold a Master's degree in business management from UK and currently in the US. I was working for this small firm as an admin. I was never interested in admin because I needed a job where I could do something to do with sales and this was the very first job of my life. During interview I told him I have no workexperience and will he be willing to train me and he agreed. He did train me for 3-4 days for 1 hour each and expected me to be proactive about thing to do. He started having problems with me and commented that I am not proactive and taking time to learn. I told him often to give me the recruiters position but he didn't saying I am not a good fit coz I cant do simple admin's job well. Can anyone tell me if this can be true. If I cant do admin role I cant do any other role well? Is it that I am not smart ? I agree I made mistakes but I was learning and took me like 2 months to learn things decently well. I worked for 5 months but he still wasn't happy. He got rude after sometime.

Answer:

You need a new heating element installed. If you don't have a guy around, call a repairman. He will bring the element to your home and install it. It's been some years, but it should cost somewhere around $60 - $100. Ask, they will tell you before they do the service.
In normal non-anti-lock brakes you slam your foot on the brake and the wheels will not turn. This DOES NOT mean that the car will not be moving as the tires ability to grip the road is only so strong. Anti-lock brakes have a mechanism which will pump (on, off, on, off etc) the brakes allowing your tires to maintain some grip on the road which in turn allows you to somewhat steer while braking.
You can’t overclock a video card in your system BIOS. The system BIOS is used to control systems such as the harddrive, memory and CPU. Video cards are a separate subsystem. The only time any video settings show up in the BIOS is if your computer has onboard video (In which case, it can not be overclocked, as overclocking is only possible on 3D cards.). To overclock your video card you can get applications from the vendor (yep, some vendors provide them with the drivers) of from 3D guru websites. However, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, if you don't know how to access the BIOS, you shouldn't be overclocking your video card. Overclocking generally causes more trouble than it's worth. It will cause random system crashes and in extreme cases, can damage the system hardware if not done carefully. The performance gain is usually minimal, and the headache and problems well yeah. On a side note: To access the System BIOS: Most custom built/generic PC's use the Delete key. (the one above the arrows, not the backspace). PC's from major manufacturers like Dell are more likely to use other keys like F1, F2 or F10. Just turn on the computer and start pressing. :) If you get to the windows loading screen, you have gone to far. You want to hit the right key when the computer is doing its memory test.
