I was wondering what to do if I have a small load of laundry. There are no settings for small, med. or large loads. What to do?? I usually pack it super full, but sometimes I have a small load that needs washing..... Anyone know the answer to this? Thanks
Find model number write it down and call Maytag ask for service department i would bet they will answer that for you.But i think the front loaders are designed to use less water and dosent matter on load size.GL
It will adjust the water level to the need. Worst washer I ever had was a Maytag front loader. It died after seven years and I was so glad. Expensive to buy, expensive to fix and the water stayed inside the drum and the washer smelled bad all the time. I was so glad to get a top loading machine after seven years of hell!
I'm surprised that there are no settings because the front loaders are pretty pricy, what I do when I have a small load is go through the house and take pillow cases or sheets off of beds to make a larger load.Jusr me
Front loaders are smart! They automatically add the amount of water needed depending on the weight of the clothes inside. Just make sure you don't add to much detergent or you'll have too many suds. I've used front loaders all my life (no kidding, my mom used them, she was way ahead of her time!) and the new ones have the feature with the auto-water level.
