Question on a LCD Monitor?

I purchased the Sceptre X20WG-1080P 20'' LCD Monitor about a year ago. Recently when I turn on my PC, the power indicator blinks about 60 times. Then it finally turns on. It started out doing this about 10 times, now it getting worse. The PC is on just no display. Takes about 15 minutes to turn on. I did a trouble shoot and hooked up my old VGA monitor and it turned on right away. My guess is the monitor is going out? Anyone ever have this problem? Just want a second opinion. Thanks

Answer:

it could be getting old, im not saying did, but you might of , left the monitor on too long at times. over time this wears out the monitor especially if you dont have a screensaver runningtry hooking up the monitor to a friends or another computer to see if it does the same thing.if it does.then its time to get a new one
liquid crystal show could have a extra ideal show from CRT because it has very small pixels which could alter themselves to fairly much any shade (relies upon on the photograph card or the processor photographs in the event that they are able to help that shade). yet they are not tough and hard.A small bump can harm their pixels. yet CRT's are no longer.they are completely tough and hard and have a extra physically powerful existence expectancy than liquid crystal show's. even with the undeniable fact that this is not any longer sturdy in any respect because it consumes bigger electricity, Have extra weight, Consumes extra area which isn't sturdy. they are additionally no longer sturdy for gaming and designing Use as they can't help intense resolutions while liquid crystal show's and LED's can.
