i have a 97 Monte carol and need to replace the engine i was wondering how much it would cost to pay a mechanic to do it? (approximately)then if i do it myself like i am planning does anyone know of a good website that will go it to detail and explain step by step on how to take out and install the engine?
Are you seriously asking what's wrong with you? You've got the flu! It's crazier than a cold, but the flu isn't really a big dealThe doctor can't do anything for youTreat your flu like a cold, but get extra rest and extra soupLots of water tooIf you aren't able to eat food, drink lots of juice instead of waterYou'll be fine.
It just sounds like the fluIf i were you id just stay off school and rest for a few days, watch TV or something to take your mind off being ill use some of the remedies from the other answers and you should get better in no timeBut i would be careful at school, make sure you wash your hands regularly etc and dont get to close to peoplei cant believe there are that many cases and absenses and they have done nothing about it.
Its not difficult to remove the engine from a car, Ive done many, just support the engine, remove the hoses and electrical cables, maybe the radiator, then just undo the engine mounts which there are usually three, and undo the gearbox bolts and slide the engine out and lift using a craneLabel all of the wiring if you have to and be careful around the radiator and intake manifoldRefitting is just the opposite, hardest part is lining the engine up to slide it back to the gearboxIf you remove the clutch you will need a clutch alignment toolTake your time and youll be fine.
