I have a Dell 24 monitor with built in card readers on the left, however when I put my SD card into the slot, nothing happens how do I access the SD card?

In order for an SD card reader to work you will need a USB cable running from the monitor to the tower. Depending on your monitor it may have the cable already, just hanging off, otherwise it may have an empty port to put the USB Cable in. Check to see if you can find it, otherwise check the manual for where it is.
