why is the accelerator stuck in my 2005 ford Taurus?

I took it to the dealer once before and they said the cruise control cable slipped on the accelerator. Its doing it again i need help locating it and getting it from sticking please help anybody.

I had an identical difficulty with a 'ninety seven Mercury Sable, in reality the comparable automobile. Mine grew to become out to be loss of lube in throttle cable. Used a twig can of silicon lube with the little tube and sprayed from the two ends then worked cable out and wherein took care of the priority.
The cruise control servo is near the a/c filter RH side engine compartment. You shld be able to locate the cable going to the throttle body. Just near the RH fender and engine firewall corner.
