Should I wear goggles while using oven cleaner?
not sure of your need for goggles but I work in the carpentry industry and am required to wear safety glasses this was a pain until i found persciption safety glasses that are osha rated and believe it or not most places like wal-mart vision offer them cheaper than regular glasses mine with poly carb (scratch resistent) auto tint lenses and side shields were just over $100
It all depends on exactly which orginization you plan to race in, different tracks, and sanctioning bodies require different requirements when it comes to fire safety, in NASCAR, and NHRA for example, they require SFI 15 seven layer Nomex suits. in IMCA they require an SFI rating of 5 or greater. It all depends on where you are racing, and what sanctioning body is sponsoring the race.
