And just how high did Glenn Beck hoist himself on it?
Petard = An explosive device used to break down a gate or wall He was hoisted by his own petard. How it fits in the cliche, I don't know. I geuss it happened alot in the middle ages.
petard, noun, historical, a small bomb made of a metal or wooden box filled with powder, used to blast down a door or to make a hole in a wall! from french petard, peter, to break wind.
Petard is someone who wants to start a country within a country and name it Petoria. Glenn Beck wants revolution and dissidence from his followers (see Cult). I say lets send the Fox 3 + Limbo to the same island as Napoleon. It would not only be better for me, but it would be better for the economy, the troops, everyone not white, etc... All of these claims I just made can be proven by the simple use of youtube, unedited footage.
Someone who prefers wearing human skin for clothes as oppose to an animal one
A petard is an explosive device used in the old days to blow down defense walls, gates, etc. Basically the hoisted on his own petard verbiage comes from Shakespeare, who was using it in the sense that the person in question had his petard-- in Glenn Beck's case, his explosive rhetoric-- blow up in his face and hoist him, or throw him, for some distance. On a daily basis, Beck would appear to hoist himself to quite an altitude.
