Question:

Taking apart electronics. How do I remove static?

So I'm taking apart a wii (Completely legitimate reasons) and I know static is an issue, knowing that a friend of mine ruined his DS several years ago. I hear rubber gloves work, and an Anti static wristband Where can I get one of those, and what other precautionary measures can I take?
