Question:

Chemical hair straightening for caucasian hair?

I'd love to hear from hairdressers or people who have had it done.My concern is that it won't move like straight hair- not to mentioned getting cooked.I have curly but fine hair that is colored- single process- not at all fried.I know its in the $300+ range- what was your experience- how long did it take- did you get it touched up yet? are you going to keep doing it or go back to curly? how much was it.Anyone in the Raleigh/Charlotte area with exceptional skill?Oh- and which was it? chi or the other one? are they pretty much the same?thanks!

Answer:

i had the creme with me home and just applied it like any hair dye, with a brush - just stayed half an inch aay from the roots, i got the same hair u gotthe creme is called Glatt from Schwartskopf, it should be avaiable in drugstoresand it didnt cost much, just the price of creme, which id cheap30$ maxx wherever u live it cant be more than thatjust wait for 15 mins and wash out
If it's expensive, I wouldn't try thishave you tried using pair of scissors or a knife, in the same way that you curl ribbon? The blade would have to be pretty bluntProbably a terrible idea, but it might work!
