The charging system light and brake light flash in unison then pauses and starts again. I‘m repairing my brakes tomorrow.
if you have rear brake shoes and not pads. run the car in reverse and step on the brake hard. continue doing this until the brake pedal is higher and the lights are out. check fluid level in the master cylinder. this will be adjusting the brakes and should be done at regular intervals.
