The pressure sensor detects the pressure and sends it to the PLC. Then the PLC sends an electric signal to drive the coil. What about the pressure sensors and the PLC?

Answer:

You can choose the pressure sensor with the upper and lower set function. When the pressure range meets the requirements, the sensor outputs a IO signal to the PLC.PLC and then sends an electric signal to drive the coil
Sensor - pressure transmitter, -AD module, -PLC- output: high costSensor - weighing meter -PLC- output: low cost
I think this system depends on your requirement.Do you need a limit on the pressure sensor for the drive coil, or do you analyze the whole range?.If you take a value, you do a circuit directly into the TTL level, and then connect to the Input port of PLC.If you want full range values, you need to extend a AD module on the PLC.
