The plumber had come 4 days ago to set up the whole sink as we had replaced the countertop and sink. After 4 days we realised that a little area of carpet near the dining room and kitchen tiles is wet and realised that it was water leakage. We checked the basement through the crawling space and noticed the foundation wood under the kitchen was wet and water was leaking under the sink area in the foundation. We have called for a plumber, however, we are really worried as this is our first house and do not have much knowledge about all this. We are also worried about the foundation wood and the kitchen tiles getting damaged. Please advise about what we need to know or anything we need to do about this problem. Thank you
