hey guys, i did a seated leg press 2 days ago, and now my thighs hurt really bad, i dont know if i put too much weight on or did it wrong. I am 14 and leg pressed 310
Hey, I guess it due to heavy weight or when you were exercising you didn't warm up at the beginning. This pain might be due to a sprain in your thigh muscles because originally a leg press exercise focuses and puts most of the weight pressure on your thigh muscles. I advise you to skip using it for a day and make sure you run on a treadmill min. 5 minutes before starting other exercises. (And If you wanna do the leg press, just decrease the weight and exercise slowly, don't go to fast.)
Well. You are most likely fine. Its just muscle soarness. By pushing that, you are building muscles. In order to build muscle, you must first tear them. By thm tearing themselfs, the rips are replaced with more protien, which will build your muscles. Dont push 310 when your 14. Its not cool. You can hurt yourself or give yourself a hernia. Good Luck.
