No, there is no recourse for this issue. For all anyone knows, the LAST tenant gutted the smoke detector and the landlord was not even aware of such. Why do you assume the landlord did this ? As well, depending on the age of the building it may well NOT be required to have hard wired detectors which are all hooked together. Very few areas have required such an upgrade to buildings constructed before that code took effect. As a landlord of several hundred units, I have more than once been cited by a fireman who simply did NOT know the codes as he claimed. The most recent was lack of CO detectors in a building which is fully electric and does not NEED CO detectors under code. I suggest that you cool down, wait for the landlord to contact you, and let HIM handle any issues with smoke detectors

This is what works for me and has helpd me very much: Try either Dove Advanced CAre Therapy shampoo and conditioner or Cristophe Beverly Hills Smoothing shampoo and conditioner (try CVS for this). Wash your hair every night but condition every other night. Rinse your hair in cold water right before getting out of the shower to smooth it and add shine.
