I was inspired when I remembered Taylor Swift was discovered while doing a set at a cafe.I want to know if there's places in Chicago (preferably downtown) where I could preform. It would be cool so do a cafe if anyone knows a place but please give me all suggestions! (I know that preforming in cafes and stuff is kind of old fashioned but it sounds so fun!)And in case this is important im 14 year old girl, 15 in just 4 more months!
You don't say what talent you have. If your school, church, or community theater has a performance coming up, you could audition. Since you're too young to drive, a parent has to be as enthused as you are to endure driving you around to perform. (Note that i said perform, not preform.) If you've been taking singing or dancing lessons for a long time, your teachers should be able to give you ideas of venues that would be appropriate for an almost 15 year old girl.
