My car alarm is a Clifford 300.I locked my car using the remote. When I tried to unlock it the remote wouldn‘t work. I unlocked it using the key - of course the alarm went off. I tried to turn the alarm off using the valet code but it wouldn‘t disarm it. The LED was flashing quickly and I replaced the battery in the remote. The valet code is correct.Can anyone please help urgently.Thanks for looking.
Put key in ignition turn it on then push valet switch.
Is the car still beeping or are the lights flashing the same number of times as when the alarm is working properly? if not count the flashes or beeps and see what it means in the car manual. I know a Mercedes flashes 10 times when the remote battery is getting low and 3 times when a window is open and so on.
I dont have that type of car but I have the same problem at timeI have to put the key in the door and turn it the opposite way and then the right way open the door and then try to turn off the alarm again!!!
